Dr. Bimal Dias, Head of Aeromedical Services of CAASL led an insightful session on “Lifestyle Modification and Redefining the Mind”, addressing Fits Air, one of key industry partners on the importance of holistic well-being in aviation under Government’s initiative of “ Clean Sri Lanka” programme.. The session emphasized the critical role of lifestyle adjustments, mental resilience, and cognitive optimization in enhancing performance, attitude changing, safety, and overall health.

Focusing on stress management, sleep hygiene, nutrition, and mental conditioning, the discussion highlighted evidence-based strategies to help aviation professionals adapt to the demands of their roles. Special attention was given to fatigue management, cognitive sharpness, and emotional regulation—key factors in sustaining optimal performance in high-stakes environments.

Firs Air staff actively engaged in discussions on integrating these principles into organizational wellness programs, reinforcing a proactive approach to mental and physical health. The session underscored the commitment of aeromedical services to promoting a sustainable and resilient aviation workforce.
