If you do not have a valid Certificate of Airworthiness for your aircraft, you will need to apply for a Permit to Fly from CAASL to fly within Sri Lankan airspace (without fare-paying passengers or cargo), subject to conditions and limitations.

As the CAASL Permit to Fly does not constitute an authorisation to fly in the airspace of other States, the operator will need to seek permission and/or clearances from the authorities of the respective states over which the flight will take place before the flight.

For the Permit to Fly, please submit CAASL-AW-A-004 Application. (Click here to visit Applications)
