What are the days on which the Medical Examinations are held?
Monday to Friday except Public Holidays
How can I make an appointment for a medical examination?
Appointments shall be obtained by logging into Aeromedical Appointments in CAA web site.
Can I make an appointment without doing investigations?
No. First you shall complete the investigations at a CAASL designated hospital, and once all investigations are done, you can make an appointment through CAASL automated medical system indicating the date of your completion of investigations.
Is it necessary for a current foreign medical Certificate holder to undergo a CAA Sri Lanka Medical Examination too?
Yes. As per the CAASL requirements.
If I am unable to be present for the medical examination on the date of the appointment?
If you unable to present for the given date, kindly inform us at least 24 hours prior. Fresh appointment will be given according to the availability of slots. If you does not inform on your absenteeism prior to 24hrs, you shall pay cancellation fees prior to obtaining a fresh appointment.

Can I get the medical certificate soon after the medical examination is completed?
a) Initial Medical Certificates are issued to Personal Licensing Section only after Medical Assessor’s certification.
b) Renewal medical certificates will be issued soon after the medical examination is completed if the Client is medically fit.
