What is the criteria adopted for the calculation of landing charges for aircraft?
It is calculated at the rate of 4 US$ for every one thousand kilograms (1000kg) or part thereof. Weight of the aircraft is calculated on the Maximum Take-off Weight indicated in the Certificate of Airworthiness.
What is the criteria adopted for the calculation of Parking charges for aircraft?
Parking charge will be 10% of the landing charge.

What are the En-route Air Navigation Facility Charges?
The total amount of En-route Navigation Facility Charges (ENFC) payable in respect of an aircraft shall be calculated as follows.
ENFE (US$) = {Chargeable Distance* (NM) + MTOW** (Metric Tons)} / 3
* Chargeable Distance:
1. Distance flown in Colombo Flight Information Region (FIR) in Nautical Miles(NM) as per the Flight Plan filed by the aircraft operator is taken as ”Chargeable Distance” .
2. For any flight operating more than 600NM within the Colombo FIR, the “Chargeable Distance” is taken as 600NM.
3. For any flight operating 300NM or less within the Colombo FIR, the “Chargeable Distance” is taken as 300NM.
** MTOW:
1. As specified in the Certificate of Airworthiness of the aircraft or in the absence of such, as may be determined by the Director General of Civil aviation. (In Metric Tons).
